Anguilla’s most prestigious luxury destination, Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club, happily announces the appointment of Michelin Star-trained chef Samuel Knight as the new executive chef of D Richard’s, the best and only steakhouse on the island.

Hailing from Brighton in Southeast England, Knight’s culinary career began humbly at age 15 with a position at a local brassiere preparing seasonal British cuisine, before venturing out into the bustling culinary scene of London, where he had the privilege of working under the renowned chef Jason Atherton at the Michelin-starred restaurant Social Eating House.

Driven by his love for exploration and culinary diversity, Knight later relocated to Dubai, UAE, where he spent three enriching years working alongside the esteemed Michelin-starred Chef David Myers, before taking on another leap and moving to Tokyo, Japan, where he, once again, partnered with Chef Myers to establish the flagship restaurant, Adrift. Their collaboration resulted in a culinary sensation, earning them numerous prestigious awards and accolades.

After a quick return to his homeland of England, Knight is ready for yet another challenge. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to join the incredible team at D Richard’s and bring years of my diverse international experience to cultivate and propel the resort’s culinary offerings,” said Samuel Knight. “I’m excited about the next chapter of my career and look forward to delivering thoughtfully curated menus and unforgettable experiences to all of Aurora Anguilla’s guests.”
